Westheimer Location Closing – March 31, 2025

After many years of serving the Houston community, Fitness Connection Westheimer will permanently close as of 11:59 PM CST on March 31, 2025. While this was a difficult decision, the location no longer meets the standards we strive to provide for our members.

 

To ensure your fitness journey continues without interruption, your membership will automatically transfer to Fitness Connection Mission Bend starting April 1, 2025.

 

Just 7 miles from the Westheimer club, Mission Bend currently offers a spacious workout floor, group fitness classes, basketball courts, turf training, a women’s workout area, Kid’s Club, and hot saunas.

Q: What is happening to the Westheimer location?

A: While we are proud of the legacy Westheimer has built, we are saddened to share with you that as of 11:59PM CST on March 31, 2025, this location will permanently close.

 

Q: What will happen to my Westheimer Membership?

A: To ensure your fitness journey continues without interruption, your membership will automatically transfer to Fitness Connection Mission Bend starting April 1, 2025.

 

Q. Where is the closest Fitness Connection location to Westheimer?

A: The closest location is Mission Bend at 7355 S. Texas 6, Houston, TX 77083.

 

Q: Will my rate increase because of this transition?

A: Your current rate will not change due to this transition.

 

Q: What will happen to my Personal Training Agreement or unused sessions?

A: You may continue with your Personal Training Agreement as planned. Your PT Agreement will be transferred to your preferred location.

 

Q: What if I want to cancel my gym membership?

A: We hope you are not canceling because of the transition – you will love Mission Bend just as much as Westheimer! However, if you still choose to cancel, we have convenient options.

  • CLUB: Before March 31, speak with one of our Westheimer Teammates or as of April 1, visit any Fitness Connection Mission Bend and speak with a Fitness Connection Teammate
  • MAIL: Sending a written notice of cancellation, together with proof of payments made under the contract, by certified mail to the following address:

Q: Will my membership in the Tivity, Renew, ASH, or PEERFit programs be transferred?

A: Yes, all Fitness Connection locations are part of the Tivity, Renew, ASH, and PEERFit programs. See the Club Manager for further details.

 

Q: How do I change my home club on the Fitness Connection App?

A: To change your home club on the Fitness Connection App, click on your profile at the top left-hand side of the home screen. Next, select App Profile from the menu and scroll to the bottom of the screen. Once again, scroll to the bottom of the screen and press Home Location. From there, you can choose your new Fitness Connection home and enjoy all the same benefits with the app as you have previously.
