We believe a gym should be more than a floor full of state-of-the-art equipment. That’s why Fitness Connection offers every class to every member; working out on the floor is fine, but if you want to build friendships, push your limits and try new things, classes are where it’s at.

Classes are also great motivators to keep you moving through the winter months. If you’re new to classes or just not sure what to try next, check out a few classes that we offer at most Fitness Connection locations.

Pilates. Ready to strengthen your powerhouse? Hit the mats with Pilates. You’ll work on strengthening your abs, back, glutes, and thighs, all based on the proven teachings of Joseph Pilates. Powered by a series of movement over time, Pilates helps you develop optimal flexibility, strength and posture to create a leaner, stronger you.

Yoga. Want to fit a little tranquility into your exercise routine? Yoga is perfect for you. Our yoga classes are fit for all skill levels, with modifications that make each pose accessible to people with different fitness levels or needs. You’ll learn flowing yoga poses that will tone, sculpt and refine both the body and mind. Yoga classes differ based on the disciplines of the instructor, so if you’re curious, just come in to your local gym and ask what style they teach.

Zumba. Want to laugh as hard as you work? Zumba might be what you’re looking for. You can dance, laugh, and burn calories all in one fun, supportive environment. Bring the nightclub to the gym with this calorie-burning fitness routine that fuses Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow dance moves so you can keep moving and not even notice the time flying by.

HIIT. If you want something that will push you to your limits, HIIT is it. HIIT stands for High-Intensity Interval Training, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. You’ll engage in a variety of circuit-based training involving TRX, kettlebells, ropes, medicine balls and more for quick bursts of high intensity exercise. If you want to shred calories and see what you’re capable of, HIIT is the class for you.
