Celebrate Our Strong FitCo Women

International Women’s Day was March 8th, but we feel that one day isn’t enough to celebrate the amazing, and strong women in our life. This month, we reached out to some of the exceptional women in our industry to find out what empowers them.

How does working out empower you?

  • Working out first thing in the morning empowers me to take over the day. Starting my day with a great workout gives me the energy physically and mentally to overcome anything in my busy, sometimes stressful day.

Who or what motivates you?

  • My biggest motivation, aside from “looking good” is to be healthy. My family is a huge motivation, I want to be healthy, be strong, be there for them, now and many many years to come.

What's your Personal Mantra?

  • “You most likely will regret not going, not working out… but you will never regret doing it!”

What is your advice to empower other women?

  • If you can’t find it in you to do it for yourself, do it for those that you love, and loves you deeply. Think about how much you want to be healthy and strong for them.

Who or what motivates you?

  • My brother as well as the people I’ve met at Fitness Connection motivate me every time I walk into the gym. The community has been so supportive and helpful!

What's your Personal Mantra?

  • “I am more powerful than my pain, my conviction is unwavering.”

What is your advice to empower other women?

  • To my fellow women in the gym- Be kind to the other women in the gym. We are all there to better ourselves and helping others do the same thing is so rewarding. When another woman asks you something or compliments you, be respectful! Let’s build an empowering community for women in the gym :)

  • Working out gives me a sense of peace. It provides me a moment of calm, of silence; a time when all of my worries and concerns are void.

What's your Personal Mantra?
