Do you like piña coladas, and spending time at the gym? Then we’ve got a summer treat for you. Thanks to a little help from Supplement RX® – available at your local Fitness Connection – we’ve concocted the perfect tropical twist on a traditional vanilla protein smoothie.
With the Piña Colada Protein Smoothie, you can give yourself a long-lasting energy boost and build and repair your lean muscle tissue with a sweet treat you’ll actually want to drink to build after a hard workout at the gym.
Here’s how to make it in your blender:
First, add 1 scoop of Supplement Rx Building Blocks Vanilla, Rx Meal Protein Vanilla, or Rx Plant Protein Vanilla. You can always pick up more Supplement Rx at your local Fitness Connection.
Next, pour in 7 oz. water.
Then, add 3 oz. of pineapple – fresh is best!
1/2 teaspoon of coconut extract makes it really sing.
Finally, top it off with ½ cup to 1 cup of ice cubes.
Then blend it, bottle it, and enjoy it after a workout to help repair your muscles and power you through the rest of your day.
